Red & Ruffled
I have been on a red kick lately. It’s quickly becoming my new favorite statement color and here’s a fun fact: red is the color of Scorpios and the root chakra. Did you know that you could possibly be working with something inwardly when we’re drawn to a particular color? Are you currently drawn to a specific colour?
Tips: does dresses make you feel too “girly” or cute? Add a pair of sneakers to balance it out
What says midsummer more than a red dress? I’m channeling my inner strawberry, or something haha! However, if you’re anything like me, dressing in cute outfits can feel strange to you. I’m one of those ladies who don’t really associate to cute. I don’t do cute, period.
Therefore, mixing dresses and skirt with sneakers have become a easy way for me to reduce the cuteness. On a more practical note, you’re feeds will thank you. Accessories are also a easy way to reduce cuteness. Think of them as I see coats for examples, read more here. You can easily change those of a look by changing shoes and sunglasses. These 90’s Kurt Cobain sunglasses does the trick if not these, I would probably go for a pair of silver Le Spec to add some more attitude.
As I wrote above, colors have an huge impact us. It can affects us as well our surrounding. When wearing colourful outfits, people usually say that what I am wearing brings them joy. Ca you get a better compliment? I think not! Here’s a little information on the color red this website.
