There is nothing wrong with fantasizing about the perfect beach wardrobe (bathing suits! tunics! sandals!), but most of us—at least Monday to Friday—still live in the real world from May to September (subways! lunches! meetings!). That said, find original ways to update their look when a new season arrives—even if they can’t quite make it out of town.
However, you can easily turn around an outfit by carefully curated accessories. No need to spend a fortune on a new wardrobe. A summer hat, change of earrings and of course sunglasses can go a long way – one should never estimate the power of details. Right?
As for this jumpsuit (link here), wore it this spring as well as this winter for a event. Back then I paired it up with high-top Nike AF SF1 whereas a pair of leopard sneakers. To opt the summer vibes, change sandals to espadrilles or lace-up sandals. However, be mindful of the choice of lace-up. You don’t want to look as you left you’re home with props from Gladiator movie, which is key when walking the line between summer resort attire vs. urban summer.
